Arizona Correctional Educators, Inc. (ACE) is the premier professional membership organization dedicated to correctional educators and related professionals in Arizona. Representing members from federal, state, county, tribal, and community-based jurisdictions, ACE stands as the State’s sole active body in this field.
Mission: ACE’s mission is to advocate for excellence in correctional and
alternative education by providing high-quality services and resources
for members. ACE values and promotes excellence, innovation and
evidence-based practices supported by data and research.
Scope of Education: Recognizing that secure care education is a critical pathway for court-involved juveniles and adults in Arizona, ACE also embraces alternative education methodologies. By integrating these approaches, ACE aims to enhance educational opportunities and outcomes across all levels of correctional education.
Networking and Collaboration: ACE serves as a dynamic network where professionals engaged in secure and alternative correctional education can exchange expertise and cultivate excellence. This collaborative environment benefits not only the professionals involved but also greatly enhances the educational experiences of our students within the secure care system.
By broadening our educational scope to include alternative methods, ACE is better equipped to meet the diverse needs of our students and members, ensuring that our approach remains comprehensive, inclusive, and effective.
