Join us for a high-energy, culture-celebrating Lip Sync Battle where we honor the diversity, creativity, and global connections that make our world vibrant.

🌟 Rules & Guidelines 🌟

1️⃣ HAVE FUN! Show us your best moves and embrace the theme of celebrating cultures through music and performance.

2️⃣ Registration is open to the first 10 teams that submit a completed form. Forms must be turned in by April 1 at 4:30 PM.

3️⃣ Team Size: Teams may have 1 to 8 members, consisting of faculty, staff, and administration (no outside performers or “ringers”). All team members must be listed on the registration form. Props are allowed and encouraged!

4️⃣ Team Captain Role: Each team must designate a Team Captain on the registration form.

The Team Captain will be the main point of contact for the competition.
Once registration is approved, the Team Captain will receive a folder labeled with their group’s name.
The final video performance must be uploaded to this folder by April 11th for judging.
5️⃣ Song Selection: Choose a song that reflects the theme of cultural celebration. Only clean versions of songs are allowed—no explicit lyrics.

6️⃣ Performance Time: Each act has a maximum of four minutes. After that, the music will fade out.

7️⃣ Respect & Inclusivity: The ACE Board reserves the right to disqualify any performance deemed inappropriate or offensive. This event is about celebrating diversity and unity through music.

8️⃣ Video Submission & Judging:

• All videos must be uploaded to the assigned team folder by April 11th.
• Videos will be reviewed, and winners will be announced during the ACE Symposium, where performances will be showcased.

9️⃣ Awards: Winners will receive a special prize during the symposium, recognizing their creativity, stage presence, and cultural celebration.

🎭 Judging Criteria 🎭

Performances will be evaluated based on the following categories:

🎶 Lip Sync Accuracy – How well do you match the lyrics? Convincing synchronization is key!

🌍 Creativity & Cultural Representation – Express the spirit of the theme! Costumes, props, choreography, and storytelling are encouraged!

💃 Stage Presence & Choreography – Engage, move, and bring the energy of the song to life! Make eye contact with the camera, smile, and own the moment!

👑 Tiebreaker: In the event of a tie, the act with the highest lip sync accuracy score will be declared the winner.

🎁 Final Decisions: All judging decisions are final, and prizes will be awarded to the top performance(s).
